We are looking for someone who wants to become an expert of our systems, who is strong in the technical field and thinks in a product- and customer-oriented way. You know how to structure and convey the information you receive in the correct way between our customers, your team, managers and other departments. You operate our systems independently and as part of a team. You remain calm under pressure to make adjustments and you have strong communication skills, while you:
- Operate our systems during demos and training and keep our systems, batteries and replicas running
- Assist the instructors during training, make adjustments or changes to existing or prepared training scenarios
- Clearly describe and communicate the customer’s wishes in the field of new to develop training scenarios.
- Clearly document changes in existing training scenarios and to our systems
- Test new software or new hardware or adjustments made to existing systems
- Correct administration and handling of support questions, malfunctions and repairs
Requirements
- A completed education at MBO+/HBO level and affinity in the field of IT, technology, games and/or serious gaming
- The capacity to work in a results and solution-oriented manner
- Creative, punctual and accurate
- Willing to travel and work irregular hours
- Willing to spend several days at our customers’ locations in the Netherlands and on an incidental basis abroad
- Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

Requirements
- Track record of successfully leading a few large (1-2M+) multi-discipline technical projects
- Seniority required; five years of experience preferable
- Must be able to write technical English reports

- Experience in the XR/VR world (technologies, connections) is a plus
Practical requirements
- At least four days/week on HQ location in Enschede
- English speaker is a must; Dutch is a pre
- Must be able to pass a Security Screening
- Must be a citizen of an EU country for the past 5 years

Senior Unreal Engineer
Do you like working on deep tech and with a mix of hard- and software? Are you ready to work on our nation’s national security challenges? Parts of our tech stack is in-house developed, other parts are based on the well known Unreal Engine, your expertise! You will be part of one of our integrated tech teams and your experience will help us to accelerate our mission; prepare Defense, Police and Fire Services worldwide for stressful situations through our VR training systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years working experience of which 2 years with the Unreal Engine
