Hardware Engineer
Are you into tinkering with a mix of hard- and software? Are you ready to work on national security challenges?
Critical components of our hardware stack are in-house developed while production is outsourced. Your experience in mechatronics, prototyping and design will accelerate our mission: prepare those who protect us for handling stressful situations by fusing immersive technology, wearables and data.
What you'll do
- Work in a multi-national team of hardware engineers;
- End-to-end involvement from design, prototype and build to support of these critical components deployed at our customers;
- Research and test new technology;
- Improve performance and functionality.
- Support sourcing of parts;
- Outsource production to trusted external suppliers;
- Interface with our cross-functional engineering teams to get things done.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Product Design or similar;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record;
- Team-player, self-motivated, driven and organized Problem solving mentality and continuously striving for improvement;
- Able to communicate in English both written and verbally.
Nice to have
- Defense/police/fire services background or affinity;
- Technical knowledge of firearms.
