Finance Controller (NL)
Location: remote within the NL

As the financial backbone of a mission-driven scale-up, you will take ownership of investor relations—building and maintaining strong relationships with investors while keeping our operations, reporting, and planning sharp as we scale across Europe, the U.S., and Ukraine.
What you'll do
- Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Preparing and analyzing management reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitoring cash flow and cost structures
- Maintaining and improving internal controls and financial processes
- Coordinating and building trust with external stakeholders
- Supporting strategic decisions with financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Advising management on investment planning, funding, and risk management
- Ensuring compliance with legal, fiscal, and internal reporting requirements
- Suggesting improvements to our ERP and reporting tools to streamline financial workflows
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or similar
- 3–5 years of experience in a controlling, financial analysis, or audit role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Financial fluency: accounting principles, reporting standards, IT tools and budgeting processes
- Excellent communication skills: spoken, written and in presentations (Dutch & English)
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a focus on improvement and ownership
It’s a plus if you have
- Experience in a technology-driven or production environment
- Familiarity with project-based accounting or cost control
- Experienced scale-up environments where structure and flexibility go hand in hand
